Jason Curry is in his ninth year as President of Big Apple Basketball, Inc.  He is responsible for all aspects of Big Apple Basketball's daily operations and coaches the programs men's touring team and select team.

A native of Jamaica, Queens, Curry attended Archbishop Molloy and Hillcrest High where he was named All-Queens and Honorable Mention All-City after averaging 21ppg and 6apg.  He completed his senior year at Cheshire Academy (CT.), where he graduated in 1991 with academic honors. He started at point guard for Cheshire's basketball team, which advanced to the New England Prep School Class 'A' final four before losing to eventual
champion Maine Central Institute.

Jason was a four-year standout at Saint Michael's College (VT.), earning the starting point guard position as a freshman.  He graduated as the program's all-time career assist leader, racking up 514 in 107 career games, and was twice named All State, First
Team. 

As a junior, he ranked #9 nationally in three-point field goal percentage (48.4%) and #15 nationally in free throw percentage (85.9%) and was the Northeast-10 Conference's top percentage man in both categories.

He also finished his career ranked at the top in several other categories in Saint Michael's history, including career free throw percentage (#1, 82%), career three-point percentage (#2, 40.5%), and steals (#3, 156).

After graduating in 1995 with a degree in Journalism, Curry began a career in broadcasting.  He has worked as a college basketball color commentator, television analyst and sideline reporter.  Jason has also worked for News 12 Long Island, NY1 News, NBA Entertainment, CNN, WNBC-TV and WABC-TV.
