11am - vs. Poly Prep (Brooklyn) def. St. Dominic's (Long Island), 46-36 - Brooklyn's Poly Prep got by Long Island perennial power St. Dominic's in the opening game. Poly paced three players in double figures, led by senior guard, Ian Goldberg (MVP) with 16. St. Dom's was led by Brian Katz's 14 points.
12:45pm - Pennsbury (PA) def. Wadleigh (Manhattan), 74-49 - Pennsbury's junior star, Dalton Pepper played better than expected as he had a remarkable 40 point outbreak (a short lived BAB Invitational record). This was a game close for the first quarter, as Pennsbury held an 18-16 lead, before going on a 25-11 run in the third quarter.
2:30pm - White Plains (NY) def. Canarsie (Brooklyn), 82-79 (OT) - Senior wing guard, Sean Kilpatrick broke Pepper's one game scoring record by pumping in 44 points in overtime versus Canarsie. Kilpatrick shot an amazing 17-25 and 10-11 from the charity stripe. Canarsie guard, Vincent Mattos led three players in double figures with 25.
4:15pm - Apex (NJ) def. Hun (NJ), 61-40 - Twins, Marcus and Markieff Morris stole the show! Both brothers are headed to Kansas next year and didn't disappoint. Markieff led the way with 24 points and 15 rebounds, while Marcus added 13 points and four rebounds. The Hun School was paced by Sterling Melville and Lance Goulbourne (both with 11 points).
6pm - San Diego (CA) def. New London (CT), 47-41 - This game featured two of the nation's elite big men. San Diego 6'10 sophomore stud, Jeremy Tyler, tabbed as the #1 sophomore nationally will faced off against Connecticut 6'8 forward, Allan Chaney - headed to Florida! According to high school basketball evaluator, Tom Konchalski, Chaney was "the biggest sleeper in the east during the summer and came out of nowhere" to earn a scholarship to play for Billy Donovan. In last year's BAB Invitational, Tyler posted 25 points, 16 rebounds and five blocks versus local power Holy Cross.
This year was a different story as the senior, Chaney appeared to be more polished than the younger Tyler. Chaney scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in a losing effort. San Diego transfer guard, Patrick McCoullum (MVP) led the way for San Diego with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Tyler finished with nine points, 15 rebounds and five blocks!
7:45pm - Benjamin Cardozo (Queens) def. Archbishop Carroll (DC), 56-55 - Cardozo was in trouble early as Carroll jumped out to a 15-3 lead to start the game. Cardozo battled back to take a one point lead at the half. The game was close the remainder of the way as Cardozo held on for the dramatic one point victory. Trinity Fields (MVP) was just shy of a triple double finishing with 12 points, nine rebounds and eight assists. Carroll placed three players in double figures led by stars, Rodney McGruder (junior-Kansas St.) with 15 points and Kris Joseph (Syracuse) 14 points.

11am - Hills West (Long Island) def. All Hallows (Bronx), 57-46 - A shorthanded All Hallows team couldn't handle Tobias Harris and his teammates from Hills West. Harris, who many consider one of the top sophomores in the area, almost single handedly carried Hills West with 27 points and seven rebounds. Senior guard, Will Hennep added 11. Tevin Williams paced All Hallows with 18 points..
12:45pm - Benjamin Cardozo (Queens) def. San Diego (CA), 71-49 - BLOWOUT CITY. This wasn't the game anyone expected. San Diego led by super-sophomore, Jeremy Tyler never showed up to play. Cardozo, fresh off its' dramatic one-pont victory on Saturday night, picked up where they left.off and jumped on San Diego 19-6 in the first quarter. The Judges from Queens never looked back, as they also outscored San Diego 28-8 in the third quarter. Senior guard, Trinity Fields had a second strong MVP performance, posting 24 points, along with six rebounds, four assists and three steals. San Diego senior point guard, Patrick McCoullum was their lone bright spot, finishing with 25 points, 14 rebounds, five blocks, four steals and three assists!
2:30pm - Boys and Girls (Brooklyn) def. Queen of Peace (NJ), 63-44 - Queen of Peace played well, but Boys and Girls played better. Queen of Peace jumped out to a 14-9 first quarter lead and struggled after that. Lack of scoring by QP, and Boys and Girls' smothering team defense in the second and third quarters were the difference. The Kangaroos from Brooklyn held the New Jersey squad to total of 10 points in the middle quarters. Playing without Rutgers bound, Patrick Jackson, Boys and Girls was led by Brandon Romain with 21 points. Queen of Peace senior, Bilal Dixon posted 20 points, 15 rebounds and four blocks in defeat.
4:15pm - Notre Dame Prep (MA) def. Blair (NJ), 77-67 - Notre Dame Prep proved to be a little too deep for the scrappy Blair Academy squad. Kim English (Missouri) earned MVP honors for NDP, with 21 points, eight rebounds, five steals and three assists in 18 minutes!!! Local product Melquan Bolding scored 17 points, and Terrence Jennings reminded many of Amare Stoudemire, while posting 13 points, seven rebounds and three blocks in a foul plagued 23 minutes. Blair junior, Austin Johnson looked awesome in defeat, getting 28 points and 14 rebounds.
6pm - American Christian (PA) def. St. Thomas More (CT), 83-72 - The marquee matchup of the event was full of fast paced action and plenty of star power. American Christian playing without stud, Tyreke Evans (concussion) still had plenty of firepower to defeat St. Thomas More. Former Rice standout, Lamont Jones earned MVP honors in his homecoming, scoring 29 points. Indiana signee and Queens product, Devin Ebanks had a phenomenal game in defeat for St. Thomas More, posting 31 points and 16 rebounds.
